Isn't the higher resolution offered in the Screen Preferences?Not with all drivers, because it's a widescreen resolution.

Isn't it possible to have more than one Extended, each with their own set of logical partitions? In that case, it makes perfectly sense to lable the button "Edit Extended".

You need to edit the file "/system/init.sh"

Uncomment line 16 (the one talking about "kernel").
Change line 44 "/system/bin/dlogin < /dev/null >> /var/log/desktop ...

The path to the drivers is hardcoded, and points to the wrong version number (the path includes the version number). At some point CUPS was updated, and the pref. tool wasn't.
