I've been looking at porting some SDL applications from SDL 1.2.x to SDL 2.x for some other platforms. While I've been looking at the code, I've been noticing some interesting issues. For instance, TuxMath 2.0.3 doesn't even build without SDL_Net and I noticed some issues using SDL_TTF instead of SDL_Pango. https://sites.google.com/site/syllablesoftware/games/educational-games/tuxmath lists TuxMath as version 1.7.1. I now have TuxMath 2.0.3 cleaned up enough to build with SDL 1.2.x without SDL_Net and fixed some of the font issues with SDL_TTF. Could still use some cleaning up of redundant code. Not sure if there are enough new features to make it worth switching to 2.0.3 from 1.7.1 in Syllable, but it might be worth looking into. Found out PDCurses does not have internationalization support with the SDL back-end. I've also been adding some minimal internationalization support and ability to use SDL_TTF with PDCurses. I got XFireworks ported to work on top of SDL (1.2.x or 2.x) instead of X. Investigating some other SDL based applications as well.

Nice work! Hopefully Bogomips can integrate it into his site.
