There's been some good threads on picogl, tinygl, tinysdgl in the forum. I'm currently working with picogl and with some patches. It seems to have the most features.

Recently ran across this OpenGL library, libfxgl ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/libfixgl/ ). It also works with SDL and supplies OpenGL support. Thought it might be of interest.

So far, I've just looked at building and the example program. Haven't had a chance to compare with picoGL. If anyone tries out libfxgl, would be interested to hear what they think about it.

Interesting, thanks! It seems to be a completely independent software OpenGL implementation.

Unfortunately, it seems to be abandoned, and the licence is GPL, so you can only make GPL programs with it.

It doesn't seem to have SDL integration. Did you make that?

The example program is rather heavy, at 50,000 lines. Smile Did you get it to work?

The sample program in the example application is SDL based, so I assume it's designed to work with SDL. Similar to picoGL, it has fglCreateContext and fglDestroyContext and uses fglGetFrameBuffer to move the results to an SDL surface.

Might be worth seeing if things are implemented that aren't implemented in picoGL.

Ran across it when I ran found an archive of programs for the Zipit Z2 ( https://github.com/mozzwald/openwrt-zipit-packages ). They have a lot of SDL and console based applications and libraries listed.
