When closing the last tab, you will still see the (now inactive) content of that tab.

Webster will now automatically close the Window if the user selects "Close tab" for the last tab in the Window.

Could this be made into an option, so that the user can select whether closing the last tab will close the window or simply turn it into a blank tab?

I'd *personally* find it absolutely unusable if closing the last tab closed the browser window. Confused

You have to weigh up the value of a new option versus the additional interface and code complexity it will add. In this case, since the user isn't obliged to close the last tab, I don't think a new option is worth it - if you don't like the window closing when you close the last tab, don't close the last tab! Smile The space in the options window could be better used for more major options like "Clear my personal data after closing" and the like.

Getting things right the first time is far better than leaving it to the user to try to get things right with a myriad of options!
... though what the 'right' thing is may be a matter for discussion Smile
