The latest dev build has the configurations I'm currently integrating into Syllable Server, but indeed the OpenSSH server doesn't run yet on Syllable Desktop. It will have the privilege separation user, but after that it will dump core as you see. The next dev build might work better.

Hmm... just to note, when will Syllable [Desktop] have OpenSSH and VNC servers available?

I'll bet your response will be that SSH will be available soon if not already, and VNC... well, as soon as someone writes it. Heh.

Same for OpenSSH: as soon as someone fixes it. Smile It was many years ago that someone showed interest in it, and at that time it was reported that it worked with key-based authentication, not password authentication. I configured the OpenSSH server to work on Syllable Server now, and I see no reason why password authentication wouldn't work on Desktop, but it does crash so far.
