Ondras python is a resource package.. You need to do unzip python<..>.resource -d /usr/ and then package register /usr/python/

when you register a package it adds the lib paths etc.. so even if you are in the bin directory if the libs aren't found you won't be able to run the application Smile

From the date of your post I'm guessing the Dosbox & Wesnoth errors may have been fixed in the second release candidate.

The error from CheckSum is known and we've decided to live with it: basically the API for os::ClipBoard is slightly broken, but not enough to worry about too much at this stage. I wish it wasn't so, but it's one of those things I'm afraid. Recompling CheckSum would fix the issue.

I've just tried Battle for Wesnoth 1.2.6 & 1.3.8 on 0.6.6rc2 and got

failed to find libSDL_image-1.2.so in search path

Qemu appears to be working O.K (I.e. it launched and attempts to boot from the disc image)

Looks like SDL-Image broke backwards compatibility the same way as SDL-Net. Can you tell me what libraries are in /system/resources/sdl-image/1.2.7/ ?

# ls -l /system/resources/sdl-image/1.2.7/lib/

libSDL_image-1.2.so.0 -> libSDL_image-1.2.so.0.1.6
libSDL_image-1.2.so.0.1.6
libSDL_image.la
libSDL_image.so -> libSDL_image-1.2.so.0.1.6

Fixed in CVS. Now I would appreciate it a lot if someone can test SDL-Sound and list its libraries in the release candidate, because it could have the same problem.

Looking at it libSDL_image, libSDL_sound & libSDL_ttf are also affected I.e. they all have

libSDL_foo-1.0.so.0

but not

libSDL_foo-1.0.so

in /system/indexes/lib/

SDL-TTF wasn't upgraded, so it shouldn't be a problem.

What version number exactly does SDL-Sound have?
