Trying to do a cvs update on dlogin produces this:

cvs update: in directory .:
cvs update: cannot read CVS/Root: No such file or directory
cvs update: please correct this problem
cvs update: No CVSROOT specified! Please use the `-d' option
cvs [update aborted]: or set the CVSROOT environment variable.

This is the only one I have found so far where this happen.

This is an error local to your machine: the CVS directories (Which is where CVS stores its meta-data) have been deleted. You should not generally build inside your working copy, as things like this can easily happen.

Build? I guess I am confused. I simply downloaded the official 6.6 source, unzipped it in my home directory and then proceeded to download updates via cvs . All the updates went fine except dlogin. I guess it is just moot anyway, I went online and downloaded the updated files directly.

Oh sorry. I'll ask Kaj to check that one. I'm not sure why dlogin should be different to anything else.

Indeed, dlogin/CVS/Root is empty. That must be an error by CVS before I packed the sources.

You can fix it by copying in a Root file from another directory: they have the same content.

I uploaded a fixed source package.
