I can add wqy-microhei font (I don't check if ttc font works in Syllable, I always splited ttc fonts with breakttc) to Syllable Desktop 0.6.6.
Google Droid Sans Fallback font doesn't work in Syllable Desktop.
unifont only look good in 12pt font size.

but for displaying in webster, I have to move out almost all fonts from font folder, leaving wqy-microhei, Dingbet, StandardSymbols, DejaSansMono in font folder.

but after doing that webster seems to be more likely crash. Rolling Eyes

IMHO Syllable should have something like fontconfig in *nix or font linking in Windows, or at least people can choose user font, just like what firefox/opera/safari/etc. does.

Font configuration is currently very basic in Syllable, and even more basic in Webster. It is something we're aware of and I do intend to fix it, but at the moment it's a very low priority I'm afraid.

Roytam, did you try the Preferences/Fonts tool? I'm not sure if Webster fully listens to it, but for the system it should not be necessary to remove fonts.

Ah, I'll move this to the Bugs section, then.

Nice screenshots, by the way.

change Preferences/Fonts will affect Webster UI, but not the web page. Wink

You do realise you're responding to a spambot who bumped a post?

Anyway, you promised you would stay away for a year before trolling again.

1)
I put a question, and a very valid and interesting one. With very less need of mathematical logic you can easily deduce that this you can't call "trolling".
I can recommand you "mathematical logic" by l.d. ebbinghaus.

2)
"Ok, I think this was my last comment. Perhaps I'll come back in a year, or so, to see the progress made after a full year of development."

If you are not able to understand what that sentence means, please go to an mathematician, and ask him what that means. He will explain you, that this doesn't say I will not post a commet for one year. (take a look at the definition of a declaration).

If you would contribute to the project, you would know our priorities, because we discuss them every day. Since you asked, I will tell you what our highest priority is: to maintain a positive environment in which our volunteers can enjoy making constructive contributions. Syllable is a volunteer project that is built out of such contributions, so if we don't maintain that environment, we don't have a project. I delete spam and spammers from this forum almost every day, and if a troll comes along, I will deal with it in the same way as a natural phenomenon.

You are misusing a bug report with the sole intention to spread negativity in the project. I gave you another chance to come back and behave yourself, but apparently you can't do that. When a bum walks into one's house and pisses in one's living room, one throws him out. If you want a mathematical proof for that, I'll oblige you once more. Two years ago you took your toys with you and ordered us to delete everything and forbade me to keep any information about you, even on this forum. You haven't retracted that order, so there you go.

Of course, some day you will register another account under another false name, and you will try to use this as proof that I am the devil, and I will throw you out again.

See?

I suppose you don't call that trolling, either.
