I have great news. I contacted the main developer of Grafx2
and he sent me a message. We talked about the integration of Syllable
in the code of Grafx2. It's great. He added Syllable here:

I don't think he will come on the forum but he is very interested to add Syllable.
Will you continue to write the recipe for Grafx2?
Then we can integrate it into the list of downloads on the site of Grafx2.
I indicated the links for recipes and for Builder on my last mail.

I already tried to write a recipe for GrafX2 2.2 some time ago, but here is a new, working recipe for GrafX2 2.3:

I did this on the 0.6.7 development build, so there may be extra complications on Syllable 0.6.6.

There is a patch in there which makes one change to the source code. The rest is all done in the recipes. If you give the GrafX2 project these links, they should know what to add to their source code to make it compile out of the box on Syllable.

Hello

Here is a new compilation method with the activation of LUA in Grafx2 (v2.3-1781).
It's shorter and faster.

Edit src/Makefile

In line 281,add: -I/resources/indexes/include/SDL after `sdl-config --cflags`
In line 282,add -lz after -lpng
In line 287,remove -lX11

After line 287,add these two lines:

LUACOPT= -I/resources/indexes/include
LUALOPT= -llua

Save your changes.

Edit src/misc.c

Replace lines 798,799 & 800 with this line:

return 10*1024*1024;

Save your changes

Type make depend and then make.
